They have Broken the Everlasting Covenant

So, what exactly is; “the everlasting covenant”? That is one of those questions which I have had in the back of my mind for a long time. For us to determine what has been broken, we have to understand what a “covenant” is. This word is not used out side of a religious content very often. According to the definition of one internet dictionary, Wikipedia says; a covenant is a solemn agreement to engage in or refrain from a specified action. It is commonly found in religious contexts, where it refers to sacred agreements between the Almighty Creator and human beings. According to Webster’s New World Dictionary; the word “covenant” is an agreement. The first of six definitions is; a binding and solemn agreement to do or keep from doing a specified thing. Definitions five and six add to the specifics of a covenant. Number five says; Law a) a formal, sealed contract, b) a clause of such a contract, c) a suit for damages for violation of such a contract. Definition number six is; Theol, the promise made by the Almighty Creator to mankind, as recorded in the Scriptures.

When you take into consideration the specifics of what a covenant is you have to conclude that it is not just an agreement between two parties. It is in effect a binding contract which has consequences. If one of the two parties of the covenant does not hold up his end of the contract, he is subject to damages for violating the agreement. When it comes to a covenant between mankind and Aheyeh, it is mankind who is the one who does not hold up his end of the covenant. You have to realize that Aheyeh does not need anything from mankind. Mankind is completely dependent upon Aheyeh for everything including the breath that we breathe in order to live.
According to scripture, the first covenant that Aheyeh made with mankind was in the Garden of Eden. Aheyeh told Adam and Eve that they could eat from any tree in the garden except from the tree of good and evil. They would have been able to live forever if they would have adhered to the specific instructions of the covenant. This covenant was not like the contract we make today, with a banker where we have to pay a ten percent penalty if we are late. This covenant had one specific penalty for failing to follow the instructions and obey. That penalty was death. When Adam and Eve ate from the tree of good and evil they broke the covenant. This covenant was no longer binding upon Aheyeh because, (no punt intended but) the other party, Adam and Eve, did not live up to their part of the agreement.
This covenant that Aheyeh made with Adam and Eve was broken. It could not be fixed. No matter how much they regretted their decision to eat of the tree of good and evil they could not convince Aheyeh to change his mind and permit them to continue living. Scripture says that Aheyeh does not change.
So in order for mankind to have a chance of living, Aheyeh had to renew his covenant with mankind. The original covenant with Adam and Eve dealt with what they were and were not allowed to eat. One has to wonder if the renewed covenant would be associated with things which we can and can not eat.
Isaiah 24:5 says; the earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Like I said before, I have always wondered what specifically the everlasting covenant was.
We have already gotten a clue as to what the everlasting covenant is associated with. It would be connected with what we can and can not eat. We find in Genesis chapter one that the first time Aheyeh mentions food is in verse 29. It says; Elohim said, see, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the surface of all the earth and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food. Right here we see that Aheyeh has given us the fruit trees and the vegetables to eat. Not only that, but we also get the crops which we can make flour out of to make different kinds of bread. We have wheat bread, rye bread and corn bread among many others. Bread is one of the main staples for mankind’s diet. Verse 30 tells us that he has given the same things to the animals of the earth. It say; And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the air and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for food: and it was so.
So originally Aheyeh gave mankind and all animal life vegetation to eat. We find that Aheyeh created the great whales and the fish of the sea and the birds of the air on the fifth day. Genesis 1:20, 21 says; Elohim said, let the waters bring out abundantly the moving creatures that have life and birds that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. Elohim created great whales and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought out abundantly, after their kind and every winged bird after his kind: Elohim saw that it was good. I would like to ask you to pay close attention to how these next two verses are structured because we will come back to them later.
So far we have two types of animals; the animals of the water (the fish) and animals of the air (the birds). On the sixth day, Aheyeh created four more types of animals. Genesis 1:24-26 says. Elohim said, let the earth bring out the living creature after his kind, livestock and creeping thing and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. Elohim created the beast of the earth after his kind and livestock after their kind and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: Elohim saw that it was good. Elohim said; let us make mankind in our image, after our likeness: The livestock would be the domesticated animals such as the cattle, sheep, goats, horses and such. The creeping thing would be those animals that slither and crawl such as the snakes and lizards and alligators, (the reptiles). The beast of the earth would be the lion and tigers and monkeys and apes. The last animal that Aheyeh created was mankind.
Did you know that scripture tells us that mankind is to have dominion over all of the animals? Genesis 1:26 in its entirety says; Elohim said; let us make mankind in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over the livestock and over all (beast of) the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. The word “dominion” has two definitions. In one sense, it means to; dominate and rule. In another sense, it means to; take care of and provide for. I believe that the context of this verse infers that this second definition is intended.
Today society has the other definition in mind. We regularly hear in the news about people being arrested because they have animals that are malnourished or cruelly treated and are in need of medical attention. Millions of people get hunting licenses every year so that they can go get a trophy to hang on their wall at home. Millions of animals are shot and killed just for sport and then many of them are left where they fall.
Did you know that according to scripture, mankind does not have anything special over the animals? According to Ecclesiastes 3:18-20 it says I said in my heart, “Concerning the matter of the sons of men, Elohim selects them, so as to see that they themselves are beasts.” For the event of the sons of men is also the event of beasts – one event befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Indeed, they all have one breath – man has no advantage over beasts. For all is futile. All are going to one place – all came from the dust, and all return to dust. This is telling us that men themselves are beasts and that mankind has the breath of life just like the beasts. When men die, they return to the dust just like the animals do.
You can do the math and determine that from the time that Aheyeh created mankind until the flood was 1666 years. So, can you tell me what it was that mankind did or was doing that caused Aheyeh to regret that he had made mankind in the first place? Scripture tells us in Genesis 6:5, 6; Elohim saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented Aheyeh that he had created man on the earth and it grieved him at his heart.
Scripture is not completely explicit when it comes to explaining what it was that mankind was doing to corrupt themselves and the earth. But however, there are several books that were written which should maybe have been included in the scriptures. I would like to quote from 2 of these books and we will see what they have to say about the things that mankind was doing to make Aheyeh regret that he had ever made mankind in the first place. Quoting from the Book of Jasher; Chapter 4:16-19 it says, “And all the sons of men departed from the ways of Aheyeh in those days as they multiplied upon the face of the earth with sons and daughters and they taught one another their evil practices and they continued sinning against Ehayeh. And every man made unto himself a god, and they robbed and plundered every man his neighbor as well as his relative, and they corrupted the earth and the earth was filled with violence. And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice and the sons of men in those days took of the cattle (livestock) of the earth, the beasts of the field, and the fouls of the air and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke Aheyeh; and Elohim saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon the earth, all men and all animals”. In the Book of Enoch; Chapter 7:10 it says, “They taught, sorcery, incantation and the dividing of the roots and trees”.
Aheyeh told Noah in Genesis 9:2 that the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea… I believe that the reason that Aheyeh told Noah this is because prior to the flood the animals were not afraid of mankind. This is probably why mankind was able to cause the animals to interbreed with different species.
Ok, so as not to get off of the subject. Aheyeh made a renewed covenant after the flood. Genesis 9 is where we find the information on this renewed covenant. Remember now that I said that the renewed covenant probably has something to do with what we eat. Verse 3 says; Every moving thing that liveth shall be food for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. If you will go back to the second paragraph on page two you will see that this is referring to the same thing. This is showing that Genesis 1:21 and 9:3 are both referring to the fish of the sea. The fish of the sea do not have the breath of life in them so this is inferring that we can eat the fish. Verse 4 tells us that we are not to eat any flesh with the life (breath) in it. The blood is what carries the oxygen (breath) to the body of mankind and beast.  4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall you not eat. 5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. 6 Whosoever sheds man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for he created mankind in the image of Elohim. This is the renewed covenant that Aheyeh made with mankind.
Genesis 9:8-12 says; Elohim spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying, And I, See, I establish my covenant with you and with your descendents after you; And with every living creature that is with you, of the birds, of the livestock and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. Elohim said, this is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
The word “perpetual” is the same as everlasting. This covenant that Aheyeh made with Noah, and his sons, and with the living creatures, and the birds, and the livestock, and the beast was supposed to be an everlasting covenant or perpetual covenant to all generations.
We find in Deuteronomy 12:23 that it says; Only be sure that thou eat not the blood; for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
Scripture tells us to study to show ourselves approved. It also tells us that the whole world would be deceived. Even, if possible, the elect. Here in America we have all grown up with the tradition of eating meat three times a day and this concept of not eating meat probably seems to be the most foreign thing we have ever heard of before. I can tell you that from my personal perspective, this is the most radical things I have ever heard of before. This is more radical for me than the 1st day verses the 7th day Sabbath. However, based upon the previous texts that I have written thus far, I have concluded that the Scriptures do not condone the eating of animal flesh for meat.
By the way the scripture reads, it appears to be telling us that it is permissible for us to eat the fish from the waters. However, Leviticus 17:14 adds a few more details. It says; For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof; therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh; for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof; whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
This verse tells us that we are not to eat no manner of flesh because who ever eats any kind of flesh will be cut off. This means that we need to be absolutely convinced in our own minds that those previous verses were infact telling us that we could indeed eat the fish of the waters.
I realize that anyone reading this paper will probably believe that I have lost it. I mean it tells us through out all the scriptures that we had animal sacrifices and the choices portions of the animal sacrifices were for the Levitical Priests to eat and we are to eat the Passover lamb for Passover. Then there was the ravens bringing EliYah grain and flesh to eat when he ran and hid from Jezebel and Ahab. Then there is the story of the bread and the fish that Messiah fed the people with. There are all these stories that clearly indicate that it is ok to eat meat, right?????  Then there are all these other things that indicate that the only thing that will atone for sin is blood.
Scripture tells us to test all things. The only way that you have an opportunity to test this theory is for you to hear about it first. To consider the concept of this entire study, one has to begin to consider that some of our scriptures which we have access to have been either completely made up or they have been severely altered.
To understand where I am getting what many of you would consider bizarre ideas from, we need to go to Genesis Chapter 49. This is where Jacob is supposedly blessing his sons before he dies. What many of us do not realize is that Jacob did not bless several of his sons. When it came to Simeon and Levi, Jacob actually cursed them. He said that his soul would not unite with their assembly. Verses 5-8 say; Simeon and Levi are brethren; Weapons of violence are their swords. O my soul, come not thou into their council; unto their assembly, my esteem, be not thou united; for in their anger they slew a man, And in their self-will they hocked an ox. Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; And their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. Now you have to understand that Jacob was just about to die. The things which Jacob told his sons were things that Aheyeh said to them through Jacob. Jacob was speaking prophetically about things that would happen to them in the future. The descendents of Levi were those who became the priests and the descendents of Simeon were those who became the scribes. It was the Levite priests who were behind the death of Messiah. It was the Levite priests who had control of the law. The people had to go to the Levites to find out what the Torah said. What if, the descendents of Simeon and Levi worked hand in hand to tamper with the Torah and manipulate it for their own benefit? You will recall that seven separate times the Messiah called the Pharisees and Scribes hypocrites. He said woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. What if it is true that they did indeed change the Torah and they set up a false sacrificial system with the killing of innocent animals?
Just to clarify, I don’t believe any man would be smart enough to make changes to the scriptures and cover every angle. I believe Satan is essentially behind any and all changes to the scriptures.

I have just ordered a copy of the James Moffat version of Scriptures from Amazon.com. A good friend of mine has a copy and I was told that Mr. Moffat had access to a early torah from before the scribes got hold of it and it shows all the verses that were added by the scribes as well as all the changes that were made. I can’t wait till it comes. I was told that the book was published back in the 1920s.

For those of you who do not know where we get the name of Aheyeh from it is the Hebrew name of the Most High. In Exodus Chapter 3:14 Moses asks the Most High what his name is and he said, I am that I am.
